This air fryer carrots recipe is quick, healthy, and full of caramelized flavor with crispy edges. Perfect for weeknight meals or a veggie-forward side.
Ingredients
4 large carrots, peeled and sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp maple syrup (or honey)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
2. Toss sliced carrots in a bowl with olive oil, maple syrup, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Place the carrots in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
4. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through for even cooking.
5. Check for caramelized edges and desired tenderness.
6. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with parsley or lemon.

Cut carrots evenly so they cook uniformly.
