Description

I’m Shaym — the cook and flavor-chaser behind SoolFood. I created this quick air fryer cookie recipe for those days when turning on the oven just isn’t it. These cookies come out golden on the edges, soft in the center, and ready in minutes. Whether you use homemade or store-bought dough, they’re a perfect small-batch dessert. If you’ve got a sweet tooth and an air fryer, this recipe is for you. Let’s make something delicious and easy together—one warm cookie at a time.

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 egg yolk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Preheat your air fryer to 325°F.

2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

3. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

4. Mix in egg yolk and vanilla until smooth.

5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until combined.

6. Fold in chocolate chips.

7. Scoop 1-inch dough balls and place on parchment in the air fryer basket.

8. Air fry at 325°F for 6–7 minutes until edges are golden.

9. Cool on rack for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use chilled dough for thicker cookies.

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—bake in batches.

Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 4 days.
