Golden, crispy air fryer French fries with a fluffy center, seasoned to perfection, and made with minimal oil for a healthier twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients
4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
2. Drain and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
3. Toss potatoes with olive oil, sea salt, paprika, and garlic powder.
4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
5. Place fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
6. Cook for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
7. Increase temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 3–5 minutes for extra crispiness.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket — cook in batches if needed.
Experiment with different seasonings such as Cajun spice or Parmesan cheese for variety.
