Description

Flaky puff pastry filled with creamy brie, blackberry jam, and honey, an easy, elegant pastry perfect for brunch or holidays.


Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

3 oz brie cheese, sliced

3 tbsp blackberry jam or preserves

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)

1 egg, beaten for egg wash


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll puff pastry on a floured surface to smooth creases.

3. Spread blackberry jam evenly across the pastry.

4. Layer with brie slices and drizzle lightly with honey.

5. Sprinkle with thyme if desired.

6. Roll into a tight log and slice into 1-inch swirls.

7. Place on baking sheet, brush with egg wash.

8. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.

9. Cool slightly and drizzle with extra honey before serving.

Notes

Use raspberry or fig jam for variation.

Add chopped nuts for crunch.

Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
