Description

Juicy blackened Cajun ribeye steak seared in cast iron and topped with rich garlic butter. Perfectly spicy, buttery, and ready in under 25 minutes.

Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 lb each)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

4 tbsp unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp parsley, chopped

½ tsp lemon juice

Instructions

1. Combine butter, garlic, parsley, and lemon juice; refrigerate.

2. Pat steaks dry, brush with olive oil, and season with Cajun spice mix.

3. Heat cast-iron skillet over high heat; sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side.

4. Top with garlic butter and spoon melted butter over steaks.

5. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use cast iron for best sear and flavor.

Let steaks rest before slicing to keep juices inside.

Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or salad.
