Description

Juicy Cajun-spiced steak layered with melted Pepper Jack cheese and tortilla chips, the ultimate spicy, cheesy nachos for any occasion.


Ingredients

1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

8 oz tortilla chips

2 cups shredded Pepper Jack cheese

½ cup shredded cheddar (optional)

1 jalapeño, sliced

½ cup diced tomatoes

¼ cup red onion, chopped

¼ cup sour cream or ranch drizzle

Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet.

3. Season steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

4. Sear steak 2–3 minutes per side; remove from heat.

5. Layer tortilla chips on a baking sheet, add half the cheese and steak.

6. Repeat layers, topping with remaining cheese.

7. Bake 8–10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.

8. Add jalapeños, tomatoes, onion, and sour cream drizzle.

9. Garnish with cilantro and serve.

Notes

Slice steak against the grain for tenderness. Serve with guacamole or salsa. Great for parties or family dinners.
