Description

Creamy seafood filling topped with golden cheddar bay biscuits, rich, cozy, and full of Old Bay flavor.


Ingredients

1 lb seafood mix (shrimp, crab, scallops)

3 tbsp butter

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup diced carrots

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup flour

1 1/2 cups seafood stock (or chicken broth)

1 cup heavy cream

1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups Cheddar Bay biscuit mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2/3 cup milk

2 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp garlic powder


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease baking dish.

2. Sauté onion, celery, and carrots in butter 5–7 minutes.

3. Add garlic and flour; cook 1 minute.

4. Gradually whisk in stock and cream until thickened.

5. Stir in seafood and Old Bay; simmer 2–3 minutes.

6. Transfer to baking dish.

7. Combine biscuit mix, cheddar, garlic powder, butter, and milk; drop spoonfuls over filling.

8. Bake 20–25 minutes until biscuits are golden and filling is bubbling.

9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use fresh or frozen seafood mix for best flavor.

Add peas or corn for extra texture.

Reheat in oven for best biscuit texture.
