Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
1 small onion, grated and squeezed dry
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp coriander
½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Combine chicken, onion, garlic, olive oil, spices, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
2. Form into oval-shaped koftas using oiled hands.
3. Grill or pan-sear over medium heat until golden and cooked through.
4. Whisk yogurt, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper into a sauce.
5. Serve koftas warm with garlic yogurt sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
Use dark ground chicken for the juiciest texture.
Serve with pita, rice, or roasted vegetables.
