Creamy, rich chocolate truffles infused with bright orange flavor, an easy no-bake dessert for Valentine’s Day or any celebration.
Ingredients
8 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp orange zest
1/2 tsp orange extract or 1 tbsp orange liqueur (optional)
1/4 cup cocoa powder for rolling
Instructions
1. Warm cream and butter in saucepan until steaming, not boiling.
2. Pour over chopped chocolate and let sit 1 minute.
3. Stir gently until smooth and glossy.
4. Add orange zest and extract; mix until combined.
5. Chill 1–2 hours until firm.
6. Scoop and roll into small balls.
7. Coat each truffle in cocoa powder.
8. Chill again for 20 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
Add a drizzle of melted chocolate for extra shine.
Store chilled for up to 10 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
