Description

A rich, creamy cheesecake infused with chocolate and bright orange zest, topped with silky ganache and citrus garnish. Perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs

¼ cup sugar

6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup sugar

¾ cup sour cream

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, melted

¼ cup cocoa powder

3 large eggs

1 tbsp orange zest

¼ cup fresh orange juice

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup heavy cream

1 cup chocolate chips

1 tsp orange zest (for ganache)

Orange slices or chocolate curls for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.

2. Mix cookie crumbs, sugar, and butter; press into the pan and bake 10 minutes.

3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add sour cream, melted chocolate, cocoa, zest, juice, and vanilla.

4. Add eggs one by one; mix until creamy.

5. Pour into crust and bake for 50 minutes until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.

6. Cool in oven with door cracked for 1 hour, then chill for at least 4 hours.

7. Heat cream and pour over chocolate chips to make ganache; stir in orange zest.

8. Spread ganache over chilled cheesecake and top with orange slices or chocolate curls.

Notes

For best texture, chill overnight before serving. Always use room-temperature cream cheese and zest oranges before juicing for maximum flavor.
