Description

This Creamy Parmesan Crusted Chicken is rich, flavorful, and comfortingly simple, a dish with golden-brown crusted chicken breasts nestled in a creamy parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup chicken broth

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp chopped parsley


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Pound the chicken to even thickness and season with salt and pepper.

3. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Parmesan, melted butter, garlic powder, and paprika.

4. Sear the chicken in olive oil for 4 minutes per side until golden.

5. Spread the Parmesan mixture evenly over the chicken.

6. Bake for 15–18 minutes until the topping turns golden and the chicken is cooked through (165°F internally).

7. In a small saucepan, combine cream, chicken broth, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until slightly thickened.

8. Pour the creamy sauce over baked chicken and sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best melt and flavor.

Add a splash of lemon juice to the sauce for brightness.

Serve with mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, or roasted vegetables.
