Description
Crispy Bang Bang Chicken coated in a crunchy crust and tossed in creamy sweet chili sauce for a restaurant-style meal at home.
Ingredients
1 ½ lbs chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
½ cup buttermilk
1 cup cornstarch
½ cup flour
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp sriracha
1 tsp rice vinegar
Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk, salt, and pepper for 20 minutes.
2. Combine cornstarch, flour, and garlic powder in a bowl.
3. Coat chicken in flour mix and fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
4. Whisk mayo, sweet chili sauce, honey, sriracha, and rice vinegar into a sauce.
5. Toss chicken with sauce or drizzle on top.
6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Air fry instead of deep fry for a lighter option.
Add more sriracha for extra heat.
Serve over rice, in wraps, or as a game-day snack.
