Description
These Crispy Cheesy Sheet Pan Potatoes are golden, melty, and irresistibly flavorful. A simple oven-baked side dish made with baby potatoes, cheddar cheese, and everyday seasonings.
Ingredients
2 lbs baby potatoes (Yukon gold or red), halved
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella mix)
2 tbsp chopped parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, toss halved potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
3. Spread potatoes cut-side down on the pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
4. Remove from oven, sprinkle shredded cheese evenly, and bake another 5 minutes until melted and bubbly.
5. Top with parsley or chives and serve hot.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the pan to keep potatoes crispy.
Use baby Yukon golds for the best texture.
Add Parmesan or smoked gouda for a flavor twist.
Serve with chicken, steak, or eggs for a full meal.
