Description
Creamy, nutty, and perfectly sweet, this Dubai Pistachio Cheese Bomb is a modern Middle Eastern dessert you can make at home.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or ghee, melted
1/3 cup warm milk
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup cream cheese or mozzarella
1/2 cup ground pistachios
2 tbsp sugar syrup
1 tsp rose water
Crushed pistachios for topping
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl.
3. Add melted butter and milk to make a soft dough.
4. Divide into small portions and flatten each.
5. Place a spoon of cheese in the center and seal to form balls.
6. Roll each in ground pistachios.
7. Place on a greased tray and bake 20–25 minutes until lightly golden.
8. Drizzle with sugar syrup mixed with rose water.
9. Top with crushed pistachios and serve warm.
Notes
For a floral touch, add a pinch of cardamom or rose essence to the syrup. Best enjoyed warm with Arabic coffee.
