Description

This Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skillet is a quick, one-pan dinner with tender chicken, a buttery garlic sauce, and a savory parmesan finish. Ready in under 30 minutes, it’s a comforting and flavorful meal that feels homemade yet effortless.

Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin cutlets

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp butter, divided

4 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup chicken broth

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp chopped parsley

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

2. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Sear chicken on both sides for 4–5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.

4. In the same skillet, melt remaining 2 tbsp butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.

6. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens slightly.

7. Return chicken to skillet and coat in sauce.

8. Sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smooth, creamy texture.

This Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skillet pairs perfectly with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.

Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra color and flavor.
