Description

These Halloween brownies are fudgy, spooky, and fun to make with kids. Perfect for parties, bake sales, or a cozy October night in.

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp espresso powder (optional)

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Candy eyeballs, Halloween sprinkles, icing (for decorating)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and espresso powder. Mix just until combined.

4. Fold in chocolate chips.

5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

6. Bake for 25–30 minutes. A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.

7. Let cool completely in the pan.

8. Decorate with candy eyeballs, sprinkles, and icing as desired.

9. Slice into squares and serve!

Notes

Avoid overmixing your batter to keep brownies soft and fudgy.

Cool fully before decorating for best results.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
