Description

Heart-Shaped Mini Waffles with Whipped Cream & Berries are light, crisp, and irresistibly cute. Perfect for Valentine’s Day breakfast or cozy weekend mornings, these waffles are quick, easy, and full of love.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 large eggs

1 1/4 cups milk (whole or almond)

3 tablespoons melted butter (plus more for greasing)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for whipped cream)

1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional for serving)

Instructions

1. Preheat your heart-shaped mini waffle maker and lightly grease it with butter or oil.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.

4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined (small lumps are fine).

5. Pour 2 tablespoons of batter into each section of the waffle maker. Cook 3–4 minutes, until golden and crisp.

6. In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar together until soft peaks form.

7. Serve the waffles topped with whipped cream, fresh berries, and a drizzle of maple syrup or honey.

Notes

Add a drop of natural red or pink food coloring for a Valentine’s Day twist.

Use whole wheat flour for a heartier texture.

Make ahead and freeze waffles, reheat in toaster for crispy results.

Swap berries for sliced peaches or cherries when in season.

Perfect for breakfast-in-bed, brunch, or family mornings.
