Description

Warm honey-roasted pears topped with creamy mascarpone and tart cranberry drizzle, a cozy, elegant dessert.

Ingredients

4 ripe pears, halved and cored

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

2 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp water

1 tsp orange zest (optional)

1/2 cup mascarpone cheese

12 tbsp heavy cream (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a baking dish.

2. Halve pears and remove cores; place cut-side up in dish.

3. Mix honey, melted butter, and cinnamon; brush over pears.

4. Roast 25–30 minutes, basting once, until golden and tender.

5. Meanwhile, simmer cranberries, sugar, water, and zest until thickened.

6. Strain for smooth sauce if desired.

7. Spoon mascarpone onto plates; place roasted pears on top.

8. Drizzle with cranberry sauce and serve warm.

Notes

Use firm, ripe pears for best texture.

Cranberry sauce can be made ahead and stored up to a week.

Substitute ricotta or Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
