Description
Tender seared steak tossed with buttery, garlicky orzo and a squeeze of lemon for a creamy, bright one-pan dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cubed
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp butter
1 cup orzo pasta
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Sear seasoned steak in olive oil 2–3 minutes per side; remove.
2. Melt butter in same skillet; toast orzo until lightly golden.
3. Add garlic, then pour in broth; simmer 8–10 minutes until tender.
4. Stir in lemon juice, zest, butter, Parmesan, and parsley.
5. Return steak to pan; toss and serve hot.
Notes
Toast orzo for richer flavor.
Add spinach or peas for color.
Use fresh lemon juice for best brightness.
