Description
A restaurant-style copycat of Longhorn’s famous Parmesan Chicken, crispy on the outside, tender inside, and loaded with buttery parmesan flavor. Perfect for a cozy dinner that tastes special but takes less than an hour.
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp grated Parmesan
1 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness, then season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 4 minutes per side until golden.
4. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, and Parmesan cheese.
5. Spread the mixture over each chicken breast.
6. Combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, and melted butter, then sprinkle on top of each chicken piece.
7. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until the topping is golden and the chicken reaches 165°F internally.
8. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
Add a dash of cayenne for gentle heat.
Pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
