Description

Flaky puff pastry layered with soft cream and fresh berries, a simple, light dessert perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

2 sheets puff pastry

2 cups mixed fresh berries

1 1/2 cups whipped cream or pastry cream

2 tbsp powdered sugar

1 tbsp honey or jam (optional)

Fresh mint for garnish


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and bake puff pastry sheets until golden.

2. Cool completely and prepare whipped cream or pastry cream.

3. Spread cream on one pastry sheet, top with berries.

4. Add second sheet, repeat layers, and finish with top layer.

5. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with berries and mint.

6. Chill before slicing and serving.

Notes

Bake pastry until light golden, not dark.

Use fresh or well-drained frozen berries.

Best served within 24 hours for crisp texture.
