Description

Fresh spicy tuna tossed in sesame miso dressing, served in crisp nori cones for a light, flavorful appetizer.

Ingredients

8 oz sushi-grade tuna, finely diced

2 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tsp sriracha or chili paste

1 tsp white miso paste

1/2 tsp sesame oil

1 green onion, finely chopped

1 tsp soy sauce (optional)

4 nori sheets or 12 mini wonton cones

1 tsp sesame seeds

Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Chop tuna and set aside in bowl.

2. Mix mayonnaise, sriracha, miso, sesame oil, and soy sauce until smooth.

3. Fold tuna and green onions into sauce; chill 10 minutes.

4. Cut nori into quarters and roll into cones, sealing edge with water.

5. Spoon tuna mixture into cones; top with sesame seeds.

6. Serve immediately for best texture.

Notes

Keep tuna chilled until ready to serve.

Use Japanese mayo (Kewpie) for richer flavor.

Can substitute cucumber cups or lettuce wraps for a fresh variation.
