Ingredients
1 pound ground venison
4 ounces ground pork or finely chopped bacon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
Pinch of cayenne or crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, combine ground venison with pork or bacon and all seasonings.
3. Gently mix to combine without overworking the meat.
4. Divide mixture into even portions and form into ¾-inch thick patties.
5. Chill patties in the fridge for 15–30 minutes.
