Description

Soft, chewy Valentine’s Day Crinkle Cookies rolled in powdered sugar for a sweet holiday treat.


Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

Few drops red or pink food coloring

1/2 cup powdered sugar for rolling


Instructions

1. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together.

2. Whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth.

3. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until creamy.

4. Add food coloring for desired shade.

5. Fold in dry ingredients until just combined.

6. Chill dough for 30 minutes.

7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

8. Roll dough into balls, coat in sugar and powdered sugar.

9. Bake 10–12 minutes until cracked and set at edges.

10. Cool and enjoy.

Notes

Chill dough before baking for best crinkle pattern.

Store in airtight container up to 4 days.

For chocolate version, replace 2 tbsp flour with cocoa.
