Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

2 ripe pears, thinly sliced

1/3 cup blue cheese, crumbled

2 tbsp chopped walnuts

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary

1 egg (for egg wash)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheet with parchment.

2. Cut puff pastry into 3-inch squares; score a 1/2-inch border.

3. Add blue cheese and pear slices to each square.

4. Brush edges with egg wash and season lightly.

5. Bake 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden.

6. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle walnuts and herbs, and serve warm.

Notes

Use Bosc pears for firm texture.

Substitute goat cheese or brie for milder flavor.

Make ahead and reheat in oven for best crispness.
