Description
Crisp roasted Brussels sprouts skewers glazed with honey and walnuts for a warm, sweet-savory side dish.
Ingredients
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Salt and pepper to taste
Wooden skewers
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Trim sprouts and thread onto skewers.
2. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast 20–25 minutes until caramelized.
3. Melt butter and honey in saucepan; add walnuts and simmer 2–3 minutes.
4. Brush glaze over sprouts and roast 5 more minutes.
5. Serve warm, drizzled with extra glaze and topped with walnuts.
Notes
Roast at high heat for deep color.
Toast walnuts for extra aroma.
Substitute maple syrup for honey if preferred.
