Description

Golden, creamy salted honey pie with buttery crust and a touch of sea salt, warm, rich, and perfectly balanced.

Ingredients

1 pie crust (homemade or store-bought)

1/2 cup unsalted butter

3/4 cup honey

1/4 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup heavy cream

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp cornmeal (optional)

1/4 tsp salt

Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and blind bake crust 10–12 minutes; cool slightly.

2. Melt butter and honey in saucepan over low heat. Add cream, sugar, cornmeal, and vanilla; whisk until smooth.

3. Let cool slightly, then whisk in eggs one at a time.

4. Pour filling into crust and bake 35–40 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly wobbly.

5. Cool completely. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before serving.

Notes

Use mild honey for smooth flavor.

Cool fully before slicing for clean edges.

Serve slightly warm or chilled, both are delicious.
